84 Revisited

84 Revisited: Immortality to the 1984 Detroit Tigers is for everyone: for ’84 Tigers fans wanting to relive distant glory; for younger fans wanting to learn; for baseball history fanatics.

The 1984 Detroit Tigers shot out to a 35-5 record, commanded first place every day of the season, and won 104 games.  They were World Champions.

This site aims to be one place for memories of this landmark team: a recap of each month, stories of special moments, player profiles, stats and basic info, photos and more.

I want to really tell the story, from the point of view of an avid researcher who was ten years old in ’84.  I want to take you back to the Summer of ’84, its culture, its music, life in Michigan, and all of Major League Baseball.

Thank you so much for visiting–let’s remember and reconstruct!
